Dr. Burris serves as President and Chief Medical Officer of the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, where he also leads drug development efforts as Executive Director. An internationally recognized authority in drug development, clinical trials, and the regulatory process, he has played a leading role in advancing innovative cancer therapies and shaping clinical research strategy. Skip also served as President-Elect of ASCO from 2019 to 2020, reflecting his standing as a respected leader in oncology and medical research.
